I am a public health consultant with specific expertise in needs assessment, grant writing, program evaluation and training. I have been working in public health leadership for over twenty years and my philosophy rests on strong partnership and a commitment to building the capacity of the organizations I work with. My projects have covered a wide variety of public health topics including HIV, hepatitis C, reproductive health, tobacco policy, child trauma, maternal mortality, youth development, and leadership development.
I like to mix teaching and training with direct practice—using my technical expertise in ways that build others’ abilities. I believe my leadership is most effective through strengthening systems, integrating continuous program improvement, and facilitating learning.
